The clamp really holds tight haven’t figured out exactly how to place this but works really well with heavy Shure mics

Great but could anyone explain ??
Great clamp - but I feel the curve is the wrong way when micing into the centre of the drum head . The curve suits sitting with the mic goose neck pointing away from the drum skin , in this way I’ve used it for under mic cymbals as its curve grabs the circular hoop well . When turned in 180 degrees only the outer edges of the clamp touch the shell hoop . I have 3 of these for micing multiple kicks or percussion etc ,
