Using this tom holder with the short arm in a heavy duty Gibraltar stand and the long arm as the horizontal mount for a 12" tom. Hardware abuse to be sure. And it works great. The tom barely moves and does not change position while playing.

Older drum kits
It’s not easy finding some parts for an older drum kit. You might find some used parts online and they are not guaranteed to work. However, you can pretty much find any drum part you may need with Gibraltar Hardware. And the parts are guaranteed to work and have a great warranty protection.
