Product Details

Gibraltar's unique Stealth Vertical Mounting System showcases your drum set while eliminating bulky tripod stands and big rack bars running across your bass drum.

The low-profile, vertical mounting plane creates a rock-solid foundation for toms, snares, and cymbals and can be configured to work with nearly any drum set-up. Nylon sleeves accept 3/4 inch, 7/8 inch, and 1-inch diameter tom mounting or snare basket tube diameters. Snare vertical mounting post measures 11 inches. From floor to mount. Tom vertical mounting post measures 18 inches from floor to top of the mount. 30-inch bent connecting tube attaches tom and snare vertical mounting posts. The bent section allows for a low setting with a double bass pedal.

The Gibraltar GSVMS Chrome Stealth

The Gibraltar GSVMS Chrome Stealth Drum Rack is a game-changer for drummers seeking a low-profile, highly functional alternative to traditional bulky drum racks. Designed with both compactness and stability in mind, this rack lives up to its “Stealth” moniker—offering a clean, minimalist setup without compromising on strength or versatility.

Design and Build Quality:
The GSVMS is crafted with heavy-duty chrome-plated steel, ensuring long-lasting durability and rock-solid stability. Its low-profile vertical mounting system sits unobtrusively behind your kit, providing a sleek aesthetic that highlights your drums and cymbals rather than the hardware. This rack is ideal for drummers who want to maintain a streamlined look on stage or in the studio.

Setup and Configuration:
One of the key advantages of the GSVMS is its simplicity. It comes with two vertical posts and a single horizontal crossbar, which can be configured to support toms, cymbals, or percussion accessories using standard multi-clamps and mounting arms. It fits perfectly around a 4- or 5-piece kit and is compatible with most brands’ hardware, making it a versatile choice even if your gear is mixed.

Portability:
At under 20 lbs, this rack is significantly lighter and more compact than traditional full-size drum racks, making it an excellent option for gigging musicians. It’s easy to transport and set up, and it can drastically cut down your hardware footprint—especially valuable for smaller stages or tight rehearsal spaces.

Performance:
Despite its compact footprint, the GSVMS offers exceptional stability. Once locked in place, it doesn’t wobble or shift, even during aggressive playing. Its modularity allows for creative setups while keeping your kit tightly organized. Drummers also note a reduction in hardware creep and clutter, with fewer stands on the floor and more precise placement of cymbals and drums.

Pros:

Sleek, minimalist look
Heavy-duty chrome construction
Stable, low-profile design
Lightweight and portable
Compatible with most hardware brands
Reduces stage clutter
Cons:

Limited expandability compared to full racks
Best suited for small to mid-size kits
May require additional clamps/mounts for full customization
Conclusion:
The Gibraltar GSVMS Stealth Rack is an outstanding solution for drummers who want a compact, clean-looking setup without sacrificing durability or flexibility. Whether you're playing club gigs, recording in the studio, or simply trying to minimize your hardware load, this rack delivers professional-level performance in a sleek package. Highly recommended for drummers who value aesthetics, portability, and smart design.

The stealth racks are the

The stealth racks are the greatest creation since sliced bread. They lock everything in place, and, if you own a van like I do the tear down and setup take half the time and require far less floor space as compared to tripod stands. I literally take the cymbals and drums off the rack and carry the whole thing to my van. So simple. I love them. I have the angled one on my hi hat side and straight one on my floor Tom side.
