The Gibraltar 9000 Series Snare Drum Stand is loaded with pro features and is fitted with an Ultra-Adjust basket for easy movement in any direction.
Starting with its double-braced tripod base fitted with Gibraltar’s Super Foot, this stand is built to take on the heaviest hitters. The Super Lock Height Adjustment collar features ABS protective tube inserts and a wing tension memory lock. The Ultra Adjust basket allows easy snare movement in any direction for the ultimate comfortable snare positioning. Its low base makes this a great choice for drummers who use deep snares. It is a great snare stand but it’s too short to be useful. Unless you have a deep snare like a 14x7 or 14x8 the snare stand doesn’t reach the height you need it to for it to be comfortable it’s only 13inch to 20 inches in height which is a big difference from other stands. This is unfortunate, because the 9709 snare stand is the only stand with the multi directional ball for positioning the angle of the snare. I wish they would at least put it in the description that it’s for deep snares.
